What if Sparky does not start?
When you click on the app icon to start Sparky, the app starts and immediately start searching for the spirometer via Bluetooth. If it cannot find a spirometer nearby, the game will not start. It will give you a message that this is the case. Please ensure that a spirometry is nearby.
What if Sparky does not start, even when your spirometer is nearby?
If your MIR Spirobank Smart spirometer is nearby, and the game does not start, please check the batteries of the spirometer.
If you have checked and are replaced the batteries, restart the game to connect it.
If the spirometer still does not work, your spirometer may be faulty. To find out if this is the case, please download the MIR App from the webstore, and launch it to see if it connects to the spirometer. If the spirometer does not connect to the MIR App, please connect to customer support. You can find the contact details on the “Spirometer support page” at www.lung-games.com.
c. How to reset / re-install sparky?
In very rare cases, you may need to re-install Sparky. Follow the next steps:
i. Clear Sparky Cache and Data Memory:
-> Go to the settings menu.
->Click on APPS -> click on search button
-> type sparky in the search bar
-> select sparky from the list
-> select storage
-> Click on “clear Cache” and “clear data”
ii. Uninstall the game: < similar to how you uninstall other apps>
-> click on the Sparky icon for 2 secs
-> click on uninstall
-> follow the instructions
iii. Reboot your tablet/phone:
Switch your tablet/phone off
Switch your tablet/ phone on
iv. Re-Install Sparky
v. Open Sparky and login as parent/caregiver (do not forget to check the box for this)
vi. Add your child
vii. Enter with your child’s login.
